By now everyone knows the news of a non-political figure is 'tossing her hat in the ring' to run in 2008... but not for president.. but against Speaker Nanci Pelosi... her name is Sheehan. Cindi Sheehan. She says: "I'm doing it to encourage other people to run against Congress members who aren't doing their jobs, who are beholden to special interests," Sheehan said.
She has been a 'thorn in the flesh' of President W. Bush and has made her name a 'household name' and she says her name is so well known she can give Speaker Nancy Pelosi a 'run for her money' to win a seat from California in 2008.
